Prayer for Peaceful Dreams

Heavenly Father, I come before You tonight with a simple but earnest request: give me peaceful dreams. "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet." — Proverbs 3:24 Lord, some nights my dreams are battlegrounds. I wake exhausted from fighting enemies that exist only in my sleep. I wake unsettled from scenes I did not choose and cannot control. Tonight, I ask You to take authority over my dream life. FILL MY DREAMS WITH YOUR CREATION: Let me dream of mountains and oceans, of forests and starlit skies. Let the beauty of what You have made fill my sleeping mind with wonder and peace. FILL MY DREAMS WITH YOUR PRESENCE: Let me sense You near me, even in sleep. Let my subconscious mind know the safety of being in Your presence. Let there be an undercurrent of peace in every dream — a deep knowing that I am held. FILL MY DREAMS WITH YOUR PROMISES: If my waking hours are filled with worry, let my sleeping hours be filled with reminders of Your faithfulness. Let Scripture I have read come alive in my dreams. Let Your promises become the landscape of my sleep. GUARD MY DREAMS FROM THE ENEMY: I place the Blood of Jesus over my sleeping mind. Lord, hold back every nightmare, every fear, and every confusion this night, in Jesus' name. My dream life belongs to God, and He alone has access. Sweet dreams, Lord. Amen.
