Prayer for Healing

Heavenly Father, Great Physician of body and soul, I come before You in need of Your healing touch. You who healed the blind, the lame, and the lepers — I trust in Your power to heal me. Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains upon the Cross. By Your wounds, we are healed. I claim that promise now over my body, my mind, and my spirit. I ask You, Lord: • Heal every sickness and disease in my body • Restore what has been damaged or broken • Remove every source of pain and suffering • Strengthen my immune system and renew my cells • Give wisdom to my doctors and caregivers Holy Spirit, flow through every part of my being like living water. Where there is inflammation, bring calm. Where there is disease, bring wholeness. Where there is weakness, bring strength. I renounce every spirit of infirmity. I reject every lie that says healing is not for me. My God is the same yesterday, today, and forever — and He still heals. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." — James 5:14-15 Lord, I place my health in Your hands. Whether You heal me instantly, gradually, or through the hands of medicine — I trust You completely. Your will be done. Amen.
