Prayer for Breaking Curses

Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You with everything that weighs on me and on my family: the words that have been spoken against us, the wounds that seem to pass from one generation to the next, and every trace of evil I cannot name.

You became a curse for us on the Cross, so that we might be set free. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us." I trust in that redemption, and I ask You to apply it to me now, by the power of Your Precious Blood.

With the promises of my Baptism, I renounce Satan, all his works, and all his empty promises. I renounce any involvement, by me or by anyone in my family, in the occult, in witchcraft, or in any dedication to false gods. I turn away from it, and I turn to You.

Lord, I forgive every person who has spoken evil against me or against my family. I release them into Your hands. Bless them, and bring them to repentance and to You.

Father, I ask You to free me, my family, and my descendants from every harm the evil one intends. Where there are chains I cannot see, loosen them. Where there are wounds in our family, heal them. Where fear has taken root, plant trust.

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Make me new, Lord.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.

I place myself, my family, and my descendants under the protection of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, now and forever. Amen.
