Morning Psalm of Praise

Lord, this morning I come to You with praise — not because everything is perfect, but because You are perfect. Not because my life has no problems, but because You are bigger than every problem. "Shout for joy to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before his presence with singing." — Psalm 100:1-2 I PRAISE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE: You are the Creator of the universe — the One who flung stars across the cosmos and painted every sunrise. You are the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Alpha and Omega. You are holy, righteous, merciful, and good. There is no one like You. I PRAISE YOU FOR YOUR FAITHFULNESS: Every morning I wake up is evidence that You kept Your promises through the night. Every breath is proof that Your mercies are new. You have never failed me, Lord — not once. Even when I could not see Your hand, You were working. I PRAISE YOU FOR YOUR LOVE: A love that sent Your Son to die for me while I was still a sinner. A love that pursues me when I wander. A love that forgives me when I fail. A love that delights in me — not because I am impressive, but because I am Yours. I PRAISE YOU IN ADVANCE: For what You will do today. For the prayers You will answer. For the doors You will open. For the dangers You will divert. For the encounters You have already arranged. I praise You before I see it, because faith praises before the breakthrough. "Know that the Lord, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture." — Psalm 100:3 I enter today through Your gates with thanksgiving and into Your courts with praise. Amen!
