Walking with Jesus Today

Lord Jesus, today I do not want to just pray TO You. I want to walk WITH You. All day. Every moment. As a friend walks with a friend. "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." — Micah 6:8 Walk with me this morning as I get ready. Be there in the mundane moments — brushing teeth, making coffee, getting dressed. Let even these ordinary acts be touched by Your presence. Walk with me on my commute. Whether I drive, ride, or walk — be my traveling companion. Protect me on the road. Use the quiet minutes for conversation between us. Let the commute be less about traffic and more about communion. Walk with me at work. Sit with me in meetings. Stand with me in difficult conversations. Help me to see my colleagues as You see them — not as obstacles or competitors, but as human beings made in Your image, each carrying their own invisible burdens. Walk with me during the hard moments. When I am frustrated, remind me of patience. When I am tempted to cut corners, remind me of integrity. When I feel overlooked, remind me that You see everything — and You are the only audience that matters. Walk with me during the joyful moments. When something good happens, let my first impulse be gratitude. Let me share my joy with You as naturally as I share it with a friend. Walk with me at the end of the day. When I finally sit down, exhausted, let me feel Your presence beside me. Not judging. Not demanding more. Just... there. Faithful. Present. Loving. Lord, the disciples on the road to Emmaus did not recognize You at first, but their hearts burned within them as You walked and talked with them. Let my heart burn today with the awareness that You are right here, right beside me, every step of the way. In Your name. Amen.
