Prayer for Inner Peace

Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace, I come to You with a restless heart. My mind races, my thoughts spiral, and I cannot find stillness. The anxieties of this world press in from every side, and I am overwhelmed. You said: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid." — John 14:27 Lord, I receive Your peace now. Not the temporary peace the world offers — not distraction, not numbing, not escape — but Your deep, supernatural, soul-settling peace that surpasses all understanding. STILL MY MIND: Lord, quiet the noise. Silence the anxious thoughts. Stop the replay of yesterday's mistakes and tomorrow's worries. Bring me into this present moment with You. CALM MY EMOTIONS: Where there is turmoil, bring stillness. Where there is fear, bring assurance. Where there is anger, bring gentleness. Where there is grief, bring comfort. SETTLE MY SPIRIT: Let me rest in the knowledge that You are God and I am not. I do not need to control everything. I do not need to fix everything. I only need to trust You. "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." — Psalm 46:10 Holy Spirit, guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let Your peace flow through me like a river — steady, deep, and unshakeable. In Jesus' name. Amen.
