Consecration to the Sacred Heart

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I come before You today to consecrate myself entirely to Your love and Your protection.

Your Heart was pierced on the Cross for me. From that wound flowed blood and water — the price of my redemption, the fountain of my salvation. Every beat of Your Sacred Heart is a beat of love for me, for my family, for all humanity.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." — Romans 8:35-37

SACRED HEART OF JESUS, I CONSECRATE TO YOU:

My mind — fill it with Your thoughts. Let me think as You think, see as You see, and understand with Your wisdom. Protect me from the enemy's lies and from the world's distortions.

My heart — unite it with Yours. Let me love what You love and grieve what grieves You. Protect me from coldness, from cynicism, and from hardness of heart.

My will — align it with Yours. Let my choices reflect Your purposes. When my will conflicts with Yours, give me the grace to surrender. Protect me from stubbornness and from following my own path when You have shown me a better one.

My body — let it be a temple of the Holy Spirit. Protect it from sickness, from addiction, and from every form of self-destruction.

My family — I place each member under the mantle of Your Sacred Heart. You who love them more than I ever could — protect them, guide them, draw them to Yourself.

My future — all of it is Yours. Every day I have left on this earth, I give to You. Use me as You will. Send me where You choose. I hold nothing back.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Sacred Heart of Jesus, be our protection now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
